Vietnam, since 2017
In Vietnam, OneSky addresses the needs of marginalized young children whose parents labor in Vietnam’s factories and expanding industrial zones.

Childcare Provider Training
In partnership with the national and provincial governments, OneSky is training independent childcare providers working in the country’s industrial zones. These entrepreneurial women have received limited recognition, resources, and training. Through our Childcare Provider Training program, we are empowering these women as skilled, respected professionals and enhancing the quality of care for young Vietnamese children living on the margins to ensure they are safe, nourished, and stimulated in childcare settings.
In 2020, the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health completed a pioneering impact evaluation study of our program in Vietnam, finding that the program improves childcare quality and early childhood development outcomes. With robust evidence of impact and an invitation from Vietnam’s Ministry of Education and Training to scale nationally, OneSky is now working to build the capacity of the government to implement our training program to reach all Vietnamese children with access to quality home-based childcare.
The OneSky Early Learning Center
The ELC in Da Nang’s Hoa Khanh Industrial Park is a national training and demonstration center for quality early childhood education, providing daily care to 252 children of migrant factory workers. Since its launch in 2017, hundreds of children, parents, and community members have benefitted from the ELC’s programs and best practices. The Center also hosts many government officials eager to learn about our methodology.
