OneSky trains communities and caregivers to provide nurturing responsive care and early education so that vulnerable young children can thrive. OneSky was founded in 1998 to improve the lives of children in China’s welfare institutions. In 2011, OneSky was invited by China’s Ministry of Civil Affairs to train every child welfare worker in the country to implement our evidence-based approach. The OneSky Approach has reached every province of China and now beyond to benefit marginalized children in low-resource settings across Asia. P. C. Lee OneSky Global Centre for Early Childhood Development was founded by OneSky for all children (OneSky), a global NGO, in 2020. The Centre aims to empower caregivers with children aged between 0-6 from low-income families through parenting and early childhood care, so as to help foster their children’s growth. By providing a wide variety of early education, responsive child care services, parent-child activities, caregiver support, consultation and referral services in a parenting-friendly, playful and inspirational environment, we encourage caregivers to play, learn, and grow together with children. We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic professional, who is passionate about making a difference in young children’s lives, and has a strong belief in the vision and mission of OneSky. S/he will report to the Director of Marketing and Partnerships, HK while supporting the overall marketing and partnerships goals of OneSky through collaboration with the Program Team.
Job responsibilities:
- Organize a variety of publicity, engagement, and promotional initiatives through various online and offline channels
- Develop and implement effective marketing and fundraising campaigns and activities to promote OneSky Global Centre’s services
- Seek and identify development opportunities, establish and cultivate sustainable partnerships within the community, including individual donors, corporates, local NGOs, charitable foundation, schools and any other local service groups from proposal to documentation and reporting
- Manage productions, logistics and related follow up actions with stakeholders of all local fundraising and awareness events within allocated budgets and timeline
- Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns, events and partnerships for continuous improvement
- Act as the liaison and ensure timely communications among all internal and external stakeholders
- Assist Executive Director and Director of Marketing and Partnerships with special projects as assigned
- Support the Global Development and Engagement Team to deliver relative communication materials
- Perform ad hoc duties as assigned
Job requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in relevant disciplines, preferably in event/project management or marketing communications
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience at marketing, fundraising, event planning or relevant experience. Experienced in NGO will be an advantage
- Excellent written communication and oral presentation skills (English and Chinese)
- Proficient in MS Office, Chinese Processing, and basic graphic design tools
- Good understanding and knowledge of online and offline marketing
- Experience in design and video production/Photoshop/Adobe Illustrator/any other multimedia tools will be an advantage
- Detail oriented, multitask, proactive, innovative, flexible, good team player, and able to work under pressure
